3 Tips for Understanding and Acting on User Intent

Ron Jones, from Clickz, posted a great article on understanding and acting on user intent and why we should use Web Analytics and strive to understand the motive of those who search or navigate our websites.  One key take away I had was that we should try to identify the intent of each search by the keywords used and to look at the corresponding bounce rates in our web analytics database to see if there are any disconnects with the pages and the keywords.  This will allow us to optimize the landing page or keyword terms more effectively. http://bit.ly/sNV3x2
